More than just tying up.

     There were times when we need to tie up, bind or secure something and we desperately in need of a cord but there's no where to be found. Well, we can improvise and look for what we can use in our surroundings. whatever is long and thin and durable may be enough. But what if the situation is more critical and dangerous? We cannot compromise for our safety especially during life and death situations. 

     If it doesn't add that much of space and weight, why not add some cordage on your daily edc. You may not use it every single time but when you need it it is always with you. One good way to carry it is to make it into a paracord donut. It is a quick release type and you can decide the length of the cord that you'll be carrying. If you just want a few inches or feet then you can distribute it into your other edc items. It can be wrapped around your knife. You can wear it as cord bracelet or as shoelaces. 

     Many prefer 550 paracord because of its superb quality and usability but there are other options as well that you can settle on. A dental floss is a good example. It weights almost nothing, but it is strong and durable for small tasks. 275 paracord is another option if the 550 is too thick for you. Or the 620, 750, 820, or you can opt for Kevlar line. Kevlar lines have different diameters too. Choose what suits your needs.
