One reliable phone through the years.
This phone has been my main phone from 2008 to 2015 and then became my back-up phone up to this date . Its been 10 years now but it is still as resilient as before, except for the battery, which now only lasts for a day. All the features are functional including the start-up menu in which you have to choose between 'start phone' or 'music only' options. It can be helpful if your in a situation when you must be in airplane mode but you still want to listen to your music collection.
The call quality is good. The camera is fine. The only game that i still enjoy playing with it is the Johnny Crash Does Texas. There's no android or iphone app version of it. Its funny and challenging. A good game to entertain or relax yourself.
The walkman feature is superb. The music on speaker is loud but not broken. The mega bass is best on dedicated earphones (You can buy an adapter so that you can use a 3.5 mm jack). The walkman feature has a dedicated button and control is super easy. I always have a nostalgic feeling every time I listen to my favorite music through this phone.
After brief familiarization you can operate it without even looking. The pause and play button is on the upper left side while the volume is on the upper right side. The sole button on top is the power button which is found on the right side. To its left is the infrared. The memory card is on the lower left side and the camera shutter is on the right. I changed the back cover with the one from SE K750i in order to protect the camera from dust and scratches.
I'm sure you have your own special phone that has never let you down through the years. Maybe if the time comes when my SE W810i will retire then i'm gonna have to replace it with the same model over and over again. My main phone may change from time to time to take advantage of the latest technology and newest trend but my back-up phone model will never change.
